Privacy Policy for Boomerang App

Raya Pardazesh Nutrika ("we", "us", or "our") operates the Boomerang mobile application ("App"). This Privacy Policy describes how we collect, use, and disclose your information in connection with your use of our App.

Information We Collect

We may collect the following information when you use our App:

  1. Non-Personal Information:

    We may collect non-personal information about your use of the App, such as your device type, operating system, usage statistics, and crash logs. This information is used in an aggregate manner to understand how users interact with our App and to improve the overall user experience.

  2. Personal Information:

    Our App currently collect some of personal information about you, such as your name, phone number, or location (optional if you allowed).

    1. Name and Family: We collect your name and family name to issue invoices accurately.
    2. Phone Number: We collect your phone number to allow you to sign up for the App and authenticate your account using a one-time SMS password (OTP).
    3. Location (Optional): We may request your location to recommend nearby stores for your convenience. You can choose to deny or disable location sharing in your device settings.
    4. Device Information: We collect device information such as operating system and device type solely for the purpose of bug reporting and improving the App. This information is not shared with third parties for advertising purposes.
    5. This clarifies the reasons for collecting each piece of information and emphasizes that device information isn't used for advertising.

Disclosure of Your Information

We will not disclose your information to any third party without your consent, except as follows:

  1. Service Providers:

    We may share your information with third-party service providers who help us operate and improve the App. These service providers are contractually obligated to keep your information confidential and to use it only for the purposes we have disclosed.

  2. Legal Compliance:

    We may disclose your information if we are required to do so by law or in the good faith belief that such disclosure is necessary to comply with a court order, subpoena, or other legal process, or to protect the rights or property of us or others.

Data Security

We take reasonable steps to protect the information we collect from loss, misuse, and unauthorized access, disclosure, alteration, and destruction. However, no internet or electronic storage system is 100% secure. Therefore, we cannot guarantee the absolute security of your information.

Your Choices

You may choose to decline to provide certain information, but this may affect your ability to use certain features of the App.

Children's Privacy

The App is not intended for use by individuals under the age of 16. We do not knowingly collect personal information from children under 16 years of age. If you are a parent or guardian and believe that your child has provided us with personal information, please contact us, and we will promptly remove such information.

Changes to this Privacy Policy

We reserve the right to modify this Privacy Policy at any time. Any changes will be effective immediately upon posting the updated Privacy Policy within the App. Your continued use of the App after any changes indicates your acceptance of the revised Privacy Policy.

Account Limitations and Blocking

If your account is identified as a fraudulent account by the app's anti-fraud patterns, your account will be blocked or limited. If your account is blocked, you will not be able to use Boomerang.

Fraudulent activities include:

  1. Invoice registration by cashiers and store owners

    If you are a cashier or store owner, you are not eligible to receive cashback.

  2. Creating group accounts

    If it is proven that a number of accounts have colluded to circumvent the limitations or repeatedly transfer money between accounts for money laundering or to circumvent the anti-fraud patterns, all accounts will be blocked or limited.

All bank deposits from the gateway after account blocking (if the credit is not used up to the bank deposit limit) will be returned to the account from which the payment was made. If you have an objection after your account is blocked, please report your objection to the support team.
